Subscription Notifications inform customers about various subscription events via emails.
To configure these notifications, go to Sublium → Subscription → Settings → Notifications.
Subscriptions Notifications Overview
Here, you can configure email notifications for subscription-related events and specify the recipients.
- Subscription Created: Enable to notify the customer when a new subscription is created.
- Subscription Cancelled: Enable to notify the customer when a subscription is cancelled.
- Renewal Complete: Enable to notify the customer when a subscription renewal is successfully completed.
- Renewal Payment Failed: Enable to notify the customer when a subscription renewal payment fails.
- Upgrade Completed: Enable to notify the customer when a subscription upgrade is completed.
Note: For all the above notifications, the default recipient is Customer.
How to Set up Subscription Notification in Sublium
In this section, we will show how to set up subscription notifications in Sublium. For showing the process, we are using “Subscription Created” as an example.
Note: You can follow the same process to set up any subscription notification.
Step 1: Edit the email notification
First, click on the email notification you want to configure. In this example, we’re clicking on “Subscription Created.”
Step 2: Set up email details
Next, set up From Name, From Email, and Reply-To Email.
Step 3: Set up subject and preview text
Provide an email subject line and preview text. To personalize the subject and preview text, use a merge tag.
Hit on the {} Merge Tag button, search to find the one you need. Then copy and paste into the subject line and preview text.
Step 4: Craft email body content
To craft the email body content, Sublium provides two template types:
- Rich Text: A text-based editor with a prebuilt template for quick customization.
- Visual Builder: An intuitive drag-and-drop editor with a prebuilt template for designing emails visually.”
Pick the one you like and simply customize. Feel free to use merge tags to personalize the messaging.
Step 5: Preview and test
Before sending the notifications, you can hit preview and Text to check how the email looks on different devices.
Plus, Sublium audits the email for Missing URLs , Broken URLs, and Email Size.
If you don’t like the preview or the audit report shows some correction is needed, you can always go back to make changes.
Step 6: Activate the email
Lastly, you must activate the subscription email notification.
